American Girl Patterned TankTop

My Life doll with Red Heart Super Saver in Monet

I finally did it. I got my own site! I’ll be updating my patterns from my old site at kimations.blogspot.com over the next few months and adding them here. There are a few adjustments I want/need to make to them. I have more patterns designed and waiting to be written up and photographed. I’m also working on adding more sizes to my Nessa’s Sweater

Today I’m thrilled to share my American Girl Patterned Tank Top pattern with you!  It’s top down, seamless and one piece, which makes it quick to work up. The pattern is formed by alternating sc and dc. I’d love to see your finished top! You can share it with me on Facebook and/or add it to your Ravelry projects.

Stitches Used and Abbreviations:
st – stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet

Notes:

  • This pattern is written in US terms.
  • Please check your gauge.
  • The ch 4 at the beginning of rows 1, 5, 9, and 13 are the buttonloops.
  • The tank top is worked top down in one piece, turning after each row.
  • The first row is the right side.
  • Work the first row into the back ridge of the chains for a more finished look.
  • I personally do not ch 1 before a sc at the beginning of a row, and I use my Starting DC at the beginning of a row instead of the ch 3.
