Spokes and Petals Square 8″
I really love this square! It’s one of my favorites. I love how the spokes in the center are repeated in the corners to turn the flower into a square.
I hope you enjoy crocheting this as much as I do.
Here, I’ve joined Spokes and Petals Squares with the flat braided join to create a small baby blanket.

Beautiful square, thank you for sharing. Pattern is very easy to follow and my squares are coming along great! One question.. What technique did you use to join them together?
Kimberly
Thank you! The join is a flat braid join. I used this tutorial: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/flat-braid-joining-technique

Namaste Kimberly. I used this beautifully designed pattern in a queen-sized bedspread which I made as a wedding gift for my niece. I added some rows to the squares to make them larger, then added a border using some of the elements of your pattern. I really enjoyed making the squares. You have given such clear instructions and the square is so easy to make up, I learnt the pattern by heart after making just 2 squares !!! I would love to share the picture of the bedspread with you. Thank you. Love and Light from India 🙂

Namaste Kimberly,
I had written to you earlier telling you about a bedspread I made using your pattern. I will now be making another bedspread, but instead of squares, I have modified your pattern into hexagons. I hope that is okay with you. Please let me know. Thank you. Love and Light from India.
